Instruction

Kawailehua Hula Ohana offers weekly classes in Hula, Tahitian dance, and Tahitian drumming for all ages from keiki (children) to gracious ladies. Our keiki classes generally start at age 5, but 3-4 year olds are accepted on an individual basis. There are beginning, intermediate and advanced classes for na opios (teenagers) and na wahines (women). Practice sessions are held for our Tahitian soloists and group production/competition dancers on the weekends. Our kane (male) dancers are an important part of our halau and practice regularly on Monday nights.

All classes are held at "da studio" in Milpitas, California.
