Kawailehua Hula Ohana performs year round for many different events and functions. Kawailehua Hula Ohana is also a strong believer of giving back to the community. Kawailehua has participated and performed for the following community services:

Many of Kumu Lorie's na haumana and halau members received the President's Service Award (2004). Depending on the number of volunteer hours logged, some were awarded with the Bronze, Silver, or Gold Service Award Pin.
